Are you looking for a new position with a young growing interior design studio? We are looking for a Junior / Midweight Interior Designer to assist in the day to day running of the studio and our growing client list of high street clients.

The right person will have a good technical knowledge of commercial construction and finishes together with a flair for the design of Hotels, bars, restaurants, food on the go and retail.

Great AutoCAD and SketchUp are essential

As a Junior / Midweight Interior Designer, you will be working directly with the Director/s who will delegate all levels of work. You will be working on different stages of the projects, developing designs all the way through to delivery.

We are looking for an ambitious person that we can mentor and give the freedom to take on new tasks as you become more comfortable with them, meaning your progression will align with the level of work you achieve.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assisting on the drawing packages to produce layouts, elevations and joinery packages.

• basic Sketch up modelling

• Assisting on the development of project schedules including research.

• Basic understanding of FF+E.

• Preparing and assisting creating client presentations, mood-boards and schemes

• Assisting with general correspondence with contractors, suppliers and third parties.

• general office/project administration and Co-ordination

• Liaising effectively with the Director regarding workload planning and timescales.

• Basic understanding of building planning, advertising, building control.

Required Skills & Experience

• Ideally 3-5 years of experience using AutoCAD or Vectorworks

• Experience in interior design and ability to produce technical drawings

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, photoshop and indesign

• Previous experience working in an office is beneficial

• Basic admin experience

• Excellent communication skills
