Cocos Bar, Bedford Riverside

Although Cocos is squeezed into a relatively small footprint, this did not lessen the amount of consideration and attention to detail that we gave to the project. Located on the riverside, Cocos Is part of the bustling new leisure and hospitality development in the vibrant city centre. Prestige and glamour were the brief and the best way to highlight these elements was to juxtapose them against some of the rougher, more industrial finishes already within the building; Steel against pretty cut glass, exposed brick against Brass finishes.

In addition to its primary function as an evening cocktail bar, the venue also had to function as a daytime coffee hotspot. The evening glitz was softened using plush comfortable furniture and soft intimate lighting. In addition, the riverside location provides a wonderful alfresco opportunity that will transport you to the continent.
